St. Joe Highway Kitchen Remodel

Project Overview

This Lansing area kitchen remodel is difficult to understand the amount of changes that took place without seeing it in person. The photos just don't do it justice! The design kitchen remodel started with the idea of removing a wall between the kitchen and dining room. This provided space to open up the kitchen and make a better space for the refrigerator as well as create options for additional cabinets and storage. By removing the soffits, we were able to make the kitchen feel bigger and provide more storage through full height kitchen wall cabinets. We kept the sink and stove in the same location as a way to reduce costs. Appliances were updated and we installed new quartz countertops, new sink, and new kitchen faucet. We updated the kitchen lighting with new LED recessed ceiling lighting which significantly brightened the space. We replaced the majority of the main floor flooring with new luxury vinyl plank flooring. In the family room we removed a stone half wall, updated the flooring, and removed a non-functioning fireplace.
