Okemos Kitchen and Dining Room Remodel
Project Overview
This kitchen remodel included updates to the dining room, entry, and family room as well. As we remodeled the kitchen, we opened up a wall between the kitchen and family room/entry. The space looks significantly different and there is so much more usable storage and preparation space with the addition of the island. The improved lighting and lighter colors along with removal of the kitchen soffits makes the space feel much bigger. In the design phase, we were able to utilize storage in the stair space to create even more options along with beautiful built in cabinets as part of the dining space. Because the dining room space matches the feel of the kitchen, it makes the overall space feel complete and larger. Along with the kitchen remodel, dining remodel, and entry remodel, we updated the flooring throughout a large portion of the main floor and painted as well so the entire space is updated.
