The Meadows Okemos Three Seasons Room Addition
Project Overview
The customer's existing deck was situated in a way that the afternoon sun beat down very hard on the deck and almost made it unusable with the heat and sunlight. They wanted a great space that they could enjoy without the blaring sunlight. The goal was to create a covered area but there were many complications because of existing roof lines and windows. A flat roof structure became the solution. Design and built of a luxurious three seasons room complete with stone wall surround, gas fireplace, TV wall, Versatek ceiling, Trex decking with Trex Lighting, storage space underneath, and ceiling fan. Because of the location and existing home windows and adjacent room, a steel structure was required with a flat roof. The design evolved and eventually created a beautiful area that flowed from the home into a wonderful gathering space where they can enjoy the outdoors. Because of the fireplace, ceiling heating, and fan, this three seasons room will be usable for many months of the year.
