Indian Hills Okemos Kitchen Remodel
Project Overview
In this kitchen remodel in Indian Hills Okemos, Odd Fellows Contracting remodeled the kitchen by eliminating the peninsula to open up space for an updated kitchen. Our in-house design team lead by Jerry Dowell worked with the homeowners to find a way to bring the kitchen up to a more functional modern feel while honoring the style of the home. The overall kitchen remained similar to the original layout with some modifications to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC to fit the updated style and layout. By removing the soffits and extending the height of the upper wall cabinets, the kitchen feels bigger. The Cambria quartz countertop was also used as the backsplash for a low grout option. The updated backsplash combined with the new under-cabinet LED lighting gives a wonderful updated look that adds to the aesthetic and the functionality of the kitchen. The cabinets include soft-close doors and drawers with some pull out shelving where desired.
