Briarwood Okemos Bathroom Remodel

Project Overview

This Okemos bathroom remodel that we completed in the Briarwood subdivision included a rework of the layout to expand the bathroom and enable the design for a larger shower. We utilized some of the existing bedroom closet space to repurpose for the larger shower by squaring off the bathroom. The toilet was moved which provided more floor space for the larger shower. In order to create a more accessible and easy to maintain shower, we used the Onyx Collection cultured stone material which gives ability to customize the shower layout, complete with a bench and controls close to the door for easy access. One of the goals was to provide more storage and some of the vanity width was sacrificed to provide a taller vertical linen cabinet to create significantly more storage space in the bathroom. We used luxury vinyl plank flooring in the bathroom and finished off the bedroom closet by updating the door and creating a smaller closet.
