Orchard Street East Lansing Sunroom

Project Overview

This sunroom project consisted of a partial demolition of the existing covered deck with the replacement of a fully finished office sunroom with a walk-out deck above. To create a full "all-seasons" room for the sunroom, we added a mini-split heating and cooling system to create a fully conditioned space. The roof of the sunroom was updated to utilize an existing 2nd floor door as a walk-out to a deck built on top of the sunroom. The decking was done using dec-tec system for decking along with Trex Signature Black railing. The basement family room was updated with painted drywall walls, new LVP flooring and updated painted trim. New LED lighting was added to both the sunroom and basement to update and brighten the spaces.
