Customer's Wishes
The homeowner was very clear about wanting the space to be brightened up, and it is clear why. The existing kitchen was very dark and felt like a cave. The kitchen was definitely not a welcoming space. After they had added a beautiful three-seasons room, they wanted the rest of their home to match the feeling of that space. There was not much space to make significant changes, so the focus what on using colors and lighting in a way to give the correct feel to the kitchen remodel. One option that was chosen was the addition of a solar tube. This give natural light and even with the lights off, the kitchen feels much warmer and inviting.
